I had a really boring day and spent most of it in the kennel. I was so bored I decided to go back to sleep immediately after dinner. I hope tomorrow is more interesting.

Jenn's take on the day: Today was another paperwork day. We jumped through the necessary hoops to get the car 'legal' and picked up my driver's license. Next stop was the bank to pull out the rest of the money we will need to pay for the car. It turns out the lady at the bank, Sandy, lives in the same neighborhood as we do. It was exciting to meet a neighbor and get the 'low down' on the neighborhood. We then drove to the dealership to provide them with proof of insurance, etc. The dealership still needs to put the title in our name and will call us when the paperwork is finalized. We should have the car by Monday at the latest. We then went back on base to get my medical stuff set up. At the medical office we ran into another neighbor, Trish. David and Trish already knew each other. He knows her husband from being stationed in Colorado and has been hanging out with them some. Trish and I exchanged numbers so hopefully we will be able to get together soon. At this point Dave needed to get some work done so I dropped him off at the office and took the car to practice driving on the left side of the road. I stayed on base and did OK. Hit the curb three times when turning...oops. The idea of driving off base absolutely terrifies me. The roads are extremely narrow, there is more traffic, there are lots of bicyclists AND the intersections commonly have 5 or more roads meeting. I won't have a choice when we pick up the new car. Just going to have to jump in with both feet I guess.
