It's been kinda quiet around here lately. We go for our walk/run in the morning and then the female pack leader spends the day moving around the house a lot. I will follow her around watching her for a while and then get bored and go take my mid-day nap. The past two days I was really tired and slept a lot. Therefore, I had a lot of pent up energy today and decided to skip my mid-morning nap. Thankfully the male pack leader took me out on a run. On the run I saw four dogs and tried to tell them how much they should be afraid of me but they didn't seem to care. After the run I got really tired. The pack leaders left the house. I tried to get out of the crate for a little while but then decided a nap sounded like a better plan.

Jenn's take: It's been a busy few days. First, the house: It is completely unpacked and all of the boxes have been dropped off at recycling. The furniture is now in it's permanent positions. After two shopping days and three stores we have organization systems in place. Is it weird I am most excited about having the trash system in place? Trash is really complicated here. They pick up something different each day of the week and if you don't put out the right things on the right day they won't take it. We now have 5 trash bins to aid in the process. On to decorating and making it feel like home... Second, Showa Park: Dash and I went on an unintentional adventure to get an annual pass for the park. After two hours, a few language barrier hiccups and getting lost AGAIN I have an annual pass. Let the intentional exploring of the park begin! Yay! Since I plan to be there a lot I will probably wait and post seasonal pictures in mass as a travel post. Third, getting out and socializing: David's work people got together for Friday afternoon bowling on base. I joined in the fun and got to meet some more people so that was really good. I bowled shockingly well for me and came in next to last place so I was happy. I was ecstatic when my arm wasn't sore the next day. Saturday night we went out to dinner with friends to a Spanish restaurant. OMG! The paella was amazing! As part of our appetizer we ordered a variety of cured meats. We later learned the 'prosciutto' came from the leg pictured below. I don't know what we ate (goat leg???) but it was some of the best 'prosciutto' I have ever had.
